Who receives it

Only staff and service providers who need the information receive it. Current providers include Cloudflare for hosting, security and data storage; Stripe for payments; and Resend for transactional email. Delivery details may be shared with the person fulfilling your delivery. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to establish or defend legal claims.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, the provider’s applicable legal transfer safeguards are used. Contact us if you want more information about a relevant safeguard.

How long we keep it

We keep information only while it is needed for the purposes above. The period depends on whether a record is needed to fulfil a live request, maintain an account, meet accounting or legal duties, resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or maintain a necessary backup. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. You can ask about the period that applies to a particular record.

Cookies and storage on your device

The site uses only service storage needed for requested features: a secure account-session cookie after sign-in, local storage for an order basket and menu preference, an offline cache of public site files, and security technology used by Cloudflare Turnstile. The admin page keeps an entered admin token in session storage for the current browser tab. The site does not set advertising cookies. Clearing site data removes local preferences and cached files and may sign you out.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for optional sensitive information, although that can mean we cannot safely fulfil the related request. These rights can have legal limits.

You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Email help@millers.cafe to make a request. We may need to verify your identity.

If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk.
